Sunday School > Our Aims
- to teach children that God loves us;
- to teach children to love God in a way that makes Him relevant to their everyday experiences;
- to teach children to love one another;
- to encourage children as members of St Alfege to share in Church and community life;
- to give the children of St Alfege Church the opportunity of getting to know one another;
- to provide creche facilities for parents with very young children (0-2 years).
Our children play a vital part in our faith and in the life of the church. They are the future and they do lots of things at Church but, most of all, they learn they are loved and they come back every week because they belong and they have fun! Unlike so many people nowadays, they feel comfortable and at ease in Church because they know how special they are to God! The children are our future and give us confidence and joy.
