Sunday School > Splash

Children are now established at school and starting to read and write but still receive a great deal of help from both the leader and helpers. The main focus is on the story and a craft-making activity as well as begining to think through what the story means to them.

Splash uses the children's developing skills to help them explore the Bible and discover how they can follow Jesus at home and school. The weekly programme takes into account that some will be emergent readers while others are fluent. At the same time, spiritual truth is presented at a level that can be easily understood, and the children are encouraged to develop real and meaningful friendships with God for themselves. Each quarter, three or four topics are introduced, ranging through prayer, God's Earth, Endings and Beginnings, to a character such as Joseph.
