Ways to Give
All are invited to give generously. No-one is asked to give more than they can afford.
Every gift is valued.
Tax efficient giving
As a registered charity, St Alfege Church can reclaim tax at the basic rate on all donations made under the Gift Aid scheme. This increases the value to the church and decreases the cost to the donor. With the basic rate of tax at 20%, the church receives £25 for every £100 you donate, at no extra cost to you. A higher-rate tax payer receives other benefits. Donations of shares, land and buildings are extremely tax effective. It is also possible to give through a Trust, a Company or through a legacy.
Single gifts
Please make cheques payable to St Alfege PCC (or to St Alfege Restoration Appeal, if you are giving to the appeal.) If you are a taxpayer, please download and fill in a Gift Aid form to accompany your cheque. Alternatively you can give via Virgin Money Giving.
Spread your giving
Spreading your giving helps you to increase your investment in an affordable way. You can do this by either, setting up a standing order or via the Virgin Money Giving site.
